This past Friday, we saw the new Spiderman: Homecoming with a group of friends.
It is amazing! I enjoyed watching it very much.
This movie is definitely more appealing to high-school students, but also an enjoyable movie for the whole family.
“A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine–distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man–but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.” (via Rotten Tomatoes)
Before seeing Spiderman: Homecoming, I recommend watching Captain America: Civil War, where Spiderman is first introduced and taken under the wing of Tony Stark/Iron Man.
The title “Homecoming” represents how is he still a kid (15 years old) and is dealing with homework and tests just as much as keeping track of criminals, or being that “Friendly Neighborhood Superhero.”
The Homecoming dance is coming up as well though, and he questions whether he should ask his crush, the leader of the Decathlon team, to go with him as his date.
Oh! Yeah, I’ll stop here. I don’t want to narrate the whole movie to you…😂
I’m coming to join you on your movie trip!
Have you seen Spiderman: Homecoming?
